ABOUT PREVUE

I initially was interested in becoming a professional video editor. This led me to work remotely for production companies across New Zealand + a few locally. I’ve been freelancing since I was 18 so all my work to date has been hands on or self-taught. I ended up getting sick of video after a business breakup so I taught myself graphic design and ended up offering that as a service for a while but then fell back into video. It’s my true love indeed!

Honestly, I love meeting people and posting shit on socials as ‘marketing’. Business doesn’t come naturally to me and often I cringe at the idea of being ‘professional’. When I feel like I’m showing up as the weird me, then it becomes less daunting and more fun. Fun is what I’m all about!

I do it all baby! There’s not a single part of this business that I’m unsure about. From script through to editing, I’m proficient AF. It’s always been one of my goals to at understand fully (practical and theory) what I’m offering. If there’s something I don’t understand, I will figure it out. I apply that same mindset with my own investments too. No one gets my dime until I can understand what it is I’m investing in. All the more reason to reach out if you’re unsure. I’ll point you in the right direction!

Ah, great question. Yes, I’m weird. But being weird means my creative juices flow non-stop. My creative juices flow so much sometimes I think I might accidentally drown myself. Woah there. Anyway, I really want to do a good job above all else. I love supporting people and figuring out how you can get the best bang for buck. If you need help with content creation, then I’m your girl!

Do you ever just have these crazy, silly ideas that you come up with and sometimes they are so silly that you just push them to the back of your mind? Well, all my stupid ideas are really aggressive and they don’t go away until I actually execute and bust that idea nut.

I work with a lot of really talented creatives who help me on lots of different projects! So while I’m not officially employing… yet (because scary), I do contract and outsource work to the bestest peeps!!

Lmao. Prevue is my creative space. I want to be able to do what I want and this biz definitely gives me the ability to do so! This brand is crazy because I want it to be. I just want to have fun, throw ridiculous ideas out into the world and collaborate with people I like.
